Welcome to the Coastal Challenge
Pack your imaginary bags because IMPROPER PUZZLES is heading somewhere a little warmer for this challenge.
At first glance, these two sun-soaked coastal scenes look almost exactly the same. There’s blue water, mountains in the distance, colorful buildings climbing the hillside, boats drifting across the sea, flowers covering the stone patio and an Improper Cotton-inspired outdoor setup that looks like the perfect place to spend an afternoon.
But this isn’t just a pretty view.
Somewhere between the two scenes, 11 details have changed.
Your job is simple: find every single one.
DIFFERENCES ARE HIDING
Compare the top scene with the bottom scene. Anything can change—words, colors, objects, scenery, clothing, signs or tiny background details.
How to Play
Don't just randomly scan the picture. Try working through the scene one section at a time.
Check the mountains, sky, water, boats and distant coastline. A difference doesn't have to be sitting right in front of you.
Words are especially easy to overlook because your brain tends to recognize the overall shape of a sign instead of reading every word.
Small everyday objects can make perfect hiding places for subtle changes.
An object doesn't need to disappear completely. Sometimes changing a color, design or pattern is enough.
The funniest differences are often sitting right where you're already looking.
Don't Let Your Brain Fill In The Blanks
Spot-the-difference puzzles work because your brain is incredibly good at recognizing an entire scene without carefully processing every detail. Once it decides two areas look similar, it tends to move on. Slow down and compare individual objects instead of the whole picture at once.
Difficulty: VERY HARD
Eleven differences makes this one a serious challenge.
The bright scenery actually makes things trickier. Between the flowers, buildings, boats, signs, furniture, mountains and dozens of smaller objects, your eyes have plenty of places to wander.
Finding the first few might be easy. Finding difference number eleven is where things get interesting.
