Wild West Spot the Difference Challenge

Same dusty frontier. Different details. There are 13 differences hiding somewhere in these two scenes.

Saddle up. The next Improper Puzzles by Improper Cotton challenge is taking us straight into the Wild West.

At first glance, these two frontier scenes seem to tell the exact same story: a dusty western town, an old saloon, horses, wagons, desert mountains, wooden storefronts, a campsite and enough strange little details to keep your eyes moving.

But something isn't right.

Actually, 13 things aren't right.

Somewhere between the top and bottom images, details have been changed, replaced, recolored, removed or completely transformed. Your job is to track down every last one.

How to Play

Don't try to take in the entire scene at once. There's way too much happening here.

Instead, imagine dividing the puzzle into sections. Start with the buildings and signs on the left. Move toward the horse and center of town. Then search the distant mountains and sky before working through the wagon, campsite, teepee and objects on the right.

Once you've searched the obvious places, go back through the scene again.

That's usually when the sneaky ones start showing themselves.

Welcome to the Improper Frontier

This challenge trades the usual modern Improper Cotton world for wooden storefronts, dusty trails and an old-school western landscape.

There's a saloon. A general store. Horses. A covered wagon. Campfires. Desert plants. A windmill. Weathered signs. Old crates. Western gear. And, naturally, Improper Cotton branding has somehow made its way into the frontier.

Apparently good shirts travel through time.

The busy environment is exactly what makes this puzzle tricky. Your eyes naturally lock onto the big landmarks—the mountains, buildings and horse—while smaller changes can disappear into the visual noise surrounding them.

Can You Get 13/13?

Here's the challenge: try to find every difference before reading somebody else's answer.

No asking the person next to you.

No claiming, “Yeah, I saw that,” after somebody points one out.

And if you're stuck on twelve out of thirteen for twenty minutes?
